Nicolas is a qualified Fire Safety Engineer with a multidisciplinary range of fire-related expertise. He graduated from Ulster University in 2006 with a master’s degree in Fire Safety Engineering.
With over 19 years of experience, Nicolas has worked on the design of complex fire detection and suppression systems, as well as producing fire strategy reports for a wide range of projects. His experience spans residential buildings, large educational premises and healthcare facilities, and includes carrying out fire risk assessments and developing action plans.
In recent years, façade cladding and fire stopping inspections have become a key part of Nicolas’s work. From non-intrusive checks to fully destructive surveys, he has built a deep understanding of a wide variety of fire safety systems.
Nicolas also supports HH Fire’s litigation department and is involved in several high-profile cases. He conducts detailed inspections and reviews of fire safety designs, including system performance, and prepares clear, impartial reports to support clients in court. In addition, he specialises in reviewing fire safety documentation and ensuring legal compliance.
