Nicolas is a qualified Fire Safety Engineer with a multi-disciplinary set of fire related skills. He graduated from Ulster University in 2006 with a master’s degree in Fire Safety Engineering.
His 15 year experience includes the design of complex fire detection and fire suppression systems, the production of fire strategy reports for a range of projects across all sectors, conducting fire risk assessments and action plans for residential, large educational premises and healthcare buildings.
In recent years, the need for façade cladding and fire stopping inspections has become part of Nicolas’ routine, from non-intrusive to destructive surveys, Nicolas has obtained a vast array of knowledge of the different fire safety systems.
Nicolas also supports the H+H Fire litigation department and is currently involved in high profile case’s spanning over several years. Conducting in depth inspections and reviews of fire safety design’s including the fire performance of systems. He produces accurate and impartial reports to support clients in court. Nicolas also specialises in the review of fire safety documentation and legal obligation compliance.
